Used - Extra Fine (#5 Forgery) with Certificate (U-DEF-007)
This is a genuine #5 (imperforated six pence Prince Albert on wove paper) that was impressively modified to make a perforated #13. The #5 that was used is nevertheless remarkable (cv. $1,600 in this condition). As far as forged #13 goes, this is the best we have ever seen and it is nevertheless a great stamp to fill your album (without breaking the bank), as a genuine #13 in this condition would be worth $12,000!!!

Superb genuine, Prince Albert 6d, perforated 11.75, used brown violet shade with excellent colour and a neat London 4-Ring "19" cancel, slight horizontal crease across bottom. An outstanding copy of this ridiculously rare classic Canadian stamp!!!
