Description
Barbuda is an island in the Eastern Caribbean, and forms part of the state of Antigua and Barbuda. It was first settled by indigenous peoples and discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. Following many take-overs, it finally fell into the hands of the British, and like other islands produced sugarcane products mostly through slave labour.
