Canada Stamp #1673a - Bookbinding (2001) 1¢
Missing grey (in numeral "1")
SKU: CAN-1673A
Mint - Very Fine Never Hinged
(M-VFNH)
A very special item that was discovered back in 2006, where the "1" facial value is missing the grey colour and is therefore white! As far as we know, only one sheet of 100 was ever discovered by collector Steve Trask in Saskatchewan and he had it certified by the Vincent Graves Greene Foundation in 2010 (certificated #17045), before splitting it up. This stamp is now listed in the catalogue for $400 under #1673a! A photocopy of the original certificate issued for the sheet and a regular "grey" example (#1673) are included, a superb variety that is sure to enrich any collection!
