Plate Block (Lower Right) - FNH - Plate #2

Very attractive lower right plate block of eight from the plate #2, containing the easy to identify "broken E" variety on the upper left stamp, which can only be found at this specific position (pos. 87 of the lower right sheet from plate #2, rarity factor 1/800)!
Fine centring, never hinged, it is officially listed in the catalogue as a plate block of eight (#192i) and it is the best way to collect this variety in our opinion, as it nicely proves the position of the stamp!
The "PLATE NO. 2" inscription was naturally faintly printed towards its extremity on this issue, but we find this to be part of the charm of the King George V "Medallion" plate blocks!
A highly collectible item that is still nevertheless quite affordable in this condition, it would for certain be a great complement to any collection!
PS: The upper part of the right sheet margin is slightly torn, which is unfortunately common on this issue, as margins were not perforated all the way through.
