Mint - Very Fine No Gum - Imperforated Pair (Lithographic Forgery)

Extremely well executed lithographic forgery of an imperforated pair of the 1957 loon. A very meticulous inspection is required to determine it was not engraved like the regular stamps. Still an interesting item, as someone went to a lot of trouble to fabricate it, but it is great news that the trickery was noticed!
PS: No imperforated pair is reported to exist for this issue in the catalogue, which helps to explain why it would have been a very rare item if genuine!
